I had so much fun making this animation. I started by drawing the character and making the bass twirl, but I couldn't stop there. When I get to a place in a project where I'm not sure what to do next I ask myself: "what would make me laugh the most?". In this case it was the bass running away from the poor bass player.
For this project I used Retro Supply Co. Colour Lab halftone brushes which gives it the mid century comic vibe.
